The handle is in untreated brass with leather wrapped black leather which gives a more luxurious feel. The leather is a naturally tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri of the highest quality and a little maintenance you get a product that lasts very long and is patinated with dignity. The leather is wrapped by hand of soft luxurious leather.
